To use the interface, you will first need to fill out a User Agreement and create a username and password. To do that, click on any link at the top of the page or on the far left of the page, and follow the instructions. When filling out the User Agreement: if you could explain in detail your reasons for using the corpus, the project would be grateful, as this will help them improve the user interface over time.
The Audio-Aligned and Parsed Corpus of Appalachian English is a 1-million word corpus of Appalachian English, with two basic components:
--Transcripts which are time-aligned with the speech signal, and fully text-searchable
--A part-of-speech tagged and parsed version of the transcripts which are searchable online using structural queries
