Deposit Agreement Is Required 

Deposit to OpenAIR is available only to Appalachian State University faculty, students, and staff. 

Prior to depositing your work, you are required to fill out and sign a Deposit Agreement.

Deposit Options

There are two options to deposit your work into the university's institutional repository:

• self-deposit
• assisted or curated deposit

For self-deposit, please follow the steps in the Deposit Guidelines.  For assisted or curated deposit, please contact Natalie Foreman or Ashlea Green.

Deposit Agreements

There are two Deposit Agreements:

• a General IR Deposit Agreement for all Appalachian State University works, excluding student theses and dissertations
• an Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Deposit Agreement, which is to be used solely for student theses and dissertations

You may submit your signed Deposit Agreement through the OpenAIR Deposit Agreement Google Form or through DocuSign.
