Searching for Environmental Fiction

When looking at the Books and Media for fiction with environmental themes, you may do: 

1. Subject heading search: 
Environmental protection – Fiction
Hazardous wastes – Fiction
Pollution – Fiction 

Global Warming - Fiction

Climatic changes - Fiction

Wildfires - Fiction

Climatic changes - Poetry

Sustainable development - Poetry

2. Advance keyword search:  Type the keyword in the first box (e.g. natural environment), and then type the word "fiction" or "poetry" for the subject field in the second box.

3. Author name search at the Books and Media: In the "Author" box, put the family name first, e.g. Ashley Dawson should be Dawson, Ashley in the author name search box.

Book Review Index Plus: A comprehensive online guide to book reviews that includes more than five million review citations from thousands of publications, with linking to more than 630,000 full-text reviews.

Literary Reference Center Plus: Contains full text for 31,098 plot summaries, synopses and work overviews, nearly 100,000 articles/essays of literary criticism, and nearly 140,000 author biographies.
