Borrowing Options for Spring 2021

The Music Library will remain closed to the public until February 1.  To ensure timely access to everyone possible, we strongly encourage using our online and remote services.

Home mail delivery

Use the catalog to request library materials and select "ASU Home Mail Delivery (COVID)" as your pickup location. 

Please allow 7-10 days for delivery by USPS.  You may be contacted by a member of staff to confirm your mailing address. 

HSOM Faculty office delivery

Hayes School of Music faculty and graduate students who select ASU Music Library will continue to have items delivered to your mailbox in the HSOM office.

Scan & Email

We will scan Music Library materials in accordance with Fair Use guidelines.  Please use this form to request scans and allow 24 hours for turnaround.

Requesting and Pickup

Request Items for Mail Delivery or Pickup

To support ongoing teaching and learning the music library has arranged for continued home delivery of physical library items like books, scores, and DVDs.  Note the extended delivery time of 7-10 days for USPS mailed items.  

 
The following provides an overview of the process:
 
1.  Requesting is the same as before.  Use  the catalog to initiate the request.

2.  Clicking "Request" requires you to login with your current AppState username and password.
 
3. After successfully logging in, selecting the appropriate delivery option will complete the requesting process. 
 
4.  Library staff will process the requests daily and may contact you to verify delivery address.  We may also contact you about the availability of online versions of requested items.
