University Libraries is pleased to announce that we are now offering access to Scopus, a replacement for Web of Science.
Scopus is one of the largest abstract and citation databases of peer-reviewed literature. With over 90 million records in its archive, the database provides researchers access to the global research landscape across various disciplines, including science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and arts and humanities.
In addition to the references for each document, Scopus tracks cited references as far back as 1970. Various metrics are available for references (e.g., times cited), journals (e.g., CiteScore, a competitor metric to Impact Factor), and authors (e.g., h-index). Scopus is a trusted and user-friendly search tool that only includes the highest quality journals.
University Libraries joins several other institutions in replacing Web of Science with Scopus. Additional documentation can be found on the Elsevier's Scopus guide and UNC Chapel Hill.

We can also meet with you to show you how to use Scopus, or if you prefer, make you a brief video on any task. We'll have more advanced workshops in the early Fall Semester.
