This guide is geared towards First Generation Students to help them navigate the often "Hidden Curriculum" of college. It features resources on navigating campus, finances, getting academic support, help with technology, social and cultural life, as well as health and wellness.

Are You a First Gen Student?
If you’re not sure, you’re certainly not alone. While roughly fifty percent of students identify as first-gen, many are unaware of their first-gen status until they reach college, which can make accessing resources difficult. This page will help you to figure out your generational status and provide tips that will assist you as you apply to and attend college.

Student Parking Options
This website provides information around student parking permits, as well as numbers to call for parking lots nearby to campus.
Visitor Parking Options
This website provides options if you have family or guests visiting campus, or if you don't have a regular parking pass and want to park on campus.

The College Street Parking Deck next to Belk Library and Information Commons also has 30 minute parking on it's lower level from 8am to 5pm. Visitors may park for free in any campus lot after 5pm on weekdays and on weekends unless otherwise posted and not including the Rivers Street Parking Deck.
