Two general approaches are useful for finding materials on this topic in catalogs that use LC subject headings:

1. Search a topic. Either look for a country or culture in list of subdivisions, or use the name of the country to narrow the search by subject subdivision:

• Music trade
• Music publishing
• Sound recording industry

2.  Browse the shelves.  Because books are classified--i.e., grouped with similar items on the shelves--browsing can be an effective method for finding material. Look on the shelves under the following numbers. \
