GES 2750--Getting Started with Information Literacy: Scopus

Scopus

Scopus is an abstract and citation database focused on social, physical, life, and health sciences, with over 94 million records.

One really nifty feature of Scopus is that it will allow you to discover research authored by the faculty at Appalachian State in a very easy way. On the Documents tab, use the drop down menu on the left to select keywords, Click on Add Search field, from the drop down menu select "Search Within Affiliation name, you can then select Appalachian State University:

If you click on a document from this list, you will then be able to tell if we have full access to the article (it would say Download PDF), and be able to also quickly see how many and who have cited your found document.

LibKey

If you find an abstract, but aren't sure if the Library has access to full text, give LibKey at try.  Libkey.io will review the App State databases and Journals to connect your DOI with the Full Text, if it is available.
