There are many ways to locate material in the IMC​ 
Using the Advanced Search options in the WNCLN catalog, you can Limit your search by Location to find only IMC materials, by Material Type to find dvds or games, by Languages, or more. Follow these steps:

• Go to Advanced Search in the WNCLN Catalog.
• Enter a keyword, title, or author.
• Limit by Location: ASU IMC
• Other Limit options:
  • Material Type - DVD, Games, and more
  • Language

Browsing for materials:

• Fiction: Arranged in alphabetical order - by author's last name.  Look for call numbers beginning with FIC - IMC Shelves 13, 14, 15
   
• Picture books: Arranged in alphabetical order - by author's last name.  Look for call numbers beginning with E - counter high shelving.  Big books and board books are on nearby shelves.

• Non-fiction:  Arranged by Dewey call number - IMC shelves 5-11. Search APPsearch-Advanced Search by topic and limit Location to ASU IMC.

• Biographies:  Arranged in alphabetical order by the person about whom the book is written - IMC shelf 12. Call numbers begin with the number 92. For example: Oprah Winfrey: A Twentieth-Century Life = 92 W7682co

• Traditional Literature 398

 
To find books by genre, theme or reading level.  Use the booklists on the IMC website and in the IMC kiosks

To find poetry, fantasy, science fiction, alphabet books, counting books, and graphic novel -   Search APPsearch by subject heading.

To find for historical fiction, contemporary realistic fiction, predictable books, easy readers, traditional literature, fractured fairy tales, fairy tales, and utopian/dystopian literature.   Use the lists at the end of each chapter in your textbook or Use the book lists on the IMC website and in the IMC kiosks
