Bibliography Defined

For the purpose of this guide, it is a list books, or materials, relating to a particular subject, period, or author which may or may not be annotated with additional information, such as physical or content description.


  • To save time when searching for resources related to a specific topic or collection by viewing a list of related resources
  • To learn more deeply about the resources themselves regarding their context or physical description 
  • To see an overview of a single book collection or material type in a library
