  • General info for navigating the library as a space

App Search and Other Great Science Resources

One way to quickly do any research at Belk Library is to do an App Search. Found on the library's main webpage, App Search is a federated, comprehensive way of quickly browsing resources available through Belk Library databases. This can be a firehose of information though, so getting your search strategy in place can save you a lot of time.

Sometimes, it is good to be aware of other resources in the Sciences. If you already have narrowed your topic, you might decide you want to go directly to a monograph or database. Luckily, Belk library has plenty of that!

And, speaking of having a strategy: here are some handy tips for staying organized.

Spiffy searching in Google Scholar

Google Scholar is another reliable federated search tool.
