About This Guide

This guide is broken into two main units:

Advanced Research Skills: Learn some advanced research skills now that you've gone into your discipline. This unit will also including how to search our catalog as well as specific disciplinary databases.

Evaluation: Learn different techniques for evaluating resources you've found for your research including books and articles. Also learn more about authority, evaluating information found on the web, and review popular and scholarly sources.
