RM 4110 Evaluation in Recreation and Leisure Service Managment: RM 4110

Agenda

1. Wiswell -- getting help. Assignment.  3 variables: search strings, databases, links (other clues).

2. Start with a search in SPORTDiscus -- Adults who walk on trails regularly: What positive effects do they gain from this activity?

3. Let's look at handouts.  Questions?  Then let's try again.  (Chop!)

4. Assess quality of a few of the results.

5. How to get full text?  How to manage what you find?  (What about finding journals?)

6. Let's try APPsearch  (other options?)

7.  For a few of your best articles, who do they cite and who cites them?  Other clues, like a data source, method, or organization name?
